Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said today that the breaking of the ceasefire between Israel and Iran may be a sign of internal division in Tehran, ANSA reports, BTA reports.
“This morning the scenario developed in the direction we expected“, commented Meloni in connection with the announced ceasefire between the two countries, initiated by US President Donald Trump.
According to her, the situation has become more complicated again, as Iran has violated the ceasefire agreement.
Meanwhile, “Focus“ recalls that earlier the Israeli Defense Forces reported several missiles launched by Iran after the start of the ceasefire. However, Iran's ISNA news agency rejected these claims and said Tehran had not carried out any new attacks.
