Since the start of the armed conflict with Israel on June 13, Iranian law enforcement has detained at least 700 people on suspicion of working for Israeli intelligence services, Fars news agency reported.

According to the agency, most of the detentions were registered in the provinces of Kermanshah, Isfahan, Khuzestan, Fars and Lorestan.

According to Fars, the detainees are accused of launching small drones from Iranian territory in the interests of Israel, making homemade bombs and filming military facilities with the aim of further transmitting information to Israeli intelligence services. As the agency notes, over 10,000 small drones have been seized in Tehran alone since June 13.
