The designer of the Czech publication Auto.cz created rendering images of the new Skoda Epiq electric crossover. Skoda will start selling this car next year 2025.
In March 2024, it became known that Skoda plans to launch the new Epiq crossover on the assembly line. Then the Czech car giant showed the concept of this crossover.
Now we can imagine what the production version of this concept will look like. What do we know so far about the Skoda Epiq? This car will be built on the new MEB Entry platform.
The platform is designed specifically for the creation of electric cars. On the same platform, VW also plans to build, for example, an all-electric Volkswagen ID.2 hatchback.
Interestingly, this platform is only designed for front-wheel drive electric cars. Epiq will be such a compact crossover from Skoda. Its length will be 4.1 meters, it will have a spacious interior and a trunk with a volume of 490 liters.
Skoda cars have always been distinguished by spacious interiors and large trunks, and this one will be no exception. It is not yet known what electric power this crossover will receive.
It is only claimed that the range of the top version will reach 400 km according to the WLTP test cycle. In the standard version, the mileage will be less. Of course, some modern electric crossovers have much greater mileage.
But the Epiq will belong to the affordable models, that's why its mileage will be so low. As for the price, the Epiq will cost around 25,000 euros. This is the price of the standard configuration. The Skoda company will officially present the Epiq in 2025.
