BMW 507 – a car that has cemented its place in automotive history is back with a modern twist thanks to Estella-Fahrzeugtechnik. The creation of the German studio, the Roadster Tender 5.7, is causing a debate among car enthusiasts due to the vision of the modern convertible with classic features.
Tender 5.7 uses the platform of the new BMW Z4. Estella-Fahrzeugtechnik handcrafts a custom carbon fiber body, and the result is a car that captures the essence of the classic 507 with its flowing lines, familiar grille and round headlights. The inside is lined with brown leather that wraps around all the elements.
Under the hood we can find the 3.0-liter B58 engine. Modifications, such as a larger turbocharger, unlock 500 horsepower, a significant jump over the original 507. The engine is mated to a sports suspension and 20-inch Alpina wheels.
Exclusivity comes at a price. Only 15 of these modern interpretations will be produced, each with a unique color combination with a starting price in excess of €300,000.
