Paris, France. Our team from the venue

Denis Le Vot is the CEO of Dacia and in an interview with mobile.bg, which he gave during the currently ongoing Paris Motor Show, he explained why the brand's latest moves are, first of all, Le Vot talks about the newest model of the brand - Bigster.

"While the similarities in design are obvious, it is a completely different model from the Duster. The new Bigster offers all the comforts and functions of a compact SUV, with equipment and systems never before offered in a Dacia... but at a reasonable price: less than 25,000 euros. Price is important to our brand, as today the average price for a compact SUV exceeds 35,000 euros. So many people reorient themselves, saying, "I can't afford such expensive cars, maybe I'll go see a Bigster."

Regarding the great competition that has been encountered recently, especially with the arrival of Chinese brands in Europe, Le Vaud made it clear what Dacia is and the reason for its success.

"We don't compromise on quality, but we don't offer super-technological cars either. We are much more focused on the features that customers need at the best possible price. It's something we still know how to do better. As for the price of the Spring, the Dacia boss said that regardless of the new tariffs on Chinese cars (note that the Spring is made in China), it will not increase. "There is a way to offset the new tariffs and we will do it," said Denis Le Vot.

Dacia Sandero was also a topic of conversation. The best-selling car in Europe, although it does not offer what the competition does, but which has not increased in price as much as its competitors: "Sandero has less electronics but also lower weight, overall it is a car with slightly less content compared to the competition. And given the fact that all parts and components are becoming more expensive, the price increase will be proportionally less than that of other cars in this segment.

Denis Le Vot also hints at the future: “Our entire range has been renewed and is based on the same platform in all our factories. The CMF-B platform works perfectly. In the coming years, we will launch two more cars, which will have different bodies than the current ones, but I can't say more about them yet.
