Voting is taking place in a total of 12,972 sections in the country and abroad. 12,263 are in the country. 322 are mobile electoral commissions, in hospitals there are 223, and in prisons there are a total of 25 sections. The CEC warned that in the case of machine voting, the entire ballot is not printed or blank ballots are printed. The CEC has sent instructions to the CEC that in such cases the voter should vote with a paper ballot. This must be done before the voter signs. This was announced by CEC spokesperson Rositsa Mateva at a briefing.
Voting has been suspended for a total of 42 machines in the country and abroad, it became clear from her statement. Two of them are outside the country, the remaining 40 are in the country.
There are currently 7 complaints and 14 reports. 11 of them are for violations of the SIC and they were sent to the RIC by competence. She called on citizens to forward them to the respective Regional Election Commissions, and not directly to the CEC, as they are then forwarded to the RIC anyway.
Mateva also emphasized that the members of the SEC have no right to restrict citizens from the right to vote by machine or paper.
She specified that even if the ballot boxes where the ballot from the other type of election is put are mistaken, they will be counted.
