"Their “revolution“ is a pathetic attempt at a political simulation inspired by cheap allegories of the past. They are gathering an “army” by phantoms and persons who were never part of our Central Council and have nothing to do with the DPS case. They dare to exclude the brightest figure in the history of DPS – Dr. Ahmed Dogan, the creator, ideologist and honorary chairman of our party," wrote Chakarov.
"This absurdity is nothing more than a poorly disguised attempt at political legitimization, which infuriates any true dispatcher. For us, however, these actions are a clear signal that for their so-called new beginning, lies, lawlessness and moral degradation are the main standard", Jevdet Chakarov also points out.
"DPS is where the founder and honorary chairman Dr. Ahmed Dogan is. In this difficult situation, we call on all of you – the real dispatchers who share our vision of democracy, rights, freedoms and to stay with their heads held high and not succumb to these manipulations and suggestions," he continues.
We recall the decisions of the last legitimate Central Council of the DPS from September 23, which clearly regulate our position and actions towards these people:
1. The Central Committee terminates membership by excluding Delyan Slavchev Peevski, Halil Redzepov Letifov, Iskra Dimitrova Mihailova-Koparova, Yordan Kirilov Tsonev, Hamid Bari Hamid, Stanislav Dimitrov Anastasov, Radoslav Sabinov Revanski and Erten Belginova Anisova as members of the party and their release from leadership positions , as well as on the reasons for the decisions taken. The members of the Central Council present at the meeting reiterated and fully supported the reasons for the exclusion of the chairman Delyan Peevski, members of the party and its bodies.
2. PP “DPS“ to participate in a coalition “ALLIANCE FOR RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS“ together with PP “FAIR BULGARIA UNITED PATRIOTS“ and “AGRICULTURAL PEOPLE'S UNION“ of the upcoming parliamentary elections, which will be held on October 27, 2024.
3. Excludes Bayram Yuzkan Bayram, Elvan Behchet Gyurkas, Ayten Bayryam Sabri, Atige Bayryamova Aliyeva-Veli, Cem Yamen Yamenov, Dimitar Ivanov Avramov, Ivo Sevdalinov Tsanev, Nadia Yordanova Petrova, Nebie Ismet Kabak, Nezhdet Cevdet Shaban, Nikolay Georgiev Zlatarski, Fatima Ismail Yildus , Husein Hasan Hafazov, Tsvetan Ivanov Enchev, Shendoan Remzi Halit, on the basis of Art. 6, para. 4, item 1 etc. 2, item 4, proposition 2 et seq. from the Party's Charter, namely exceeding the given powers, disparaging the DPS in the mass media; creating conditions for schism and factionalism, threatening the integrity of the party and its governing bodies."Pending the decision of the Sofia City Court, we cannot remain indifferent to the alarming signals of pressure on the court that we receive daily. We believe that the Bulgarian judicial system will resist this successive attempt at manipulations and will issue a fair decision that will uphold the law", says Jevdet Chakarov.
"At the same time, we express our indignation regarding the actions of the executive power, led by Prime Minister Glavchev, who in the most outrageous way pursues state institutions in order to comfortably accommodate corruption and addictions in his lair. The state, instead of working for the interests of citizens, becomes an accomplice of figures sanctioned for corruption under the global “Magnitsky” law, says Chakarov.
We are disgusted by this approach and categorically state:
- DPS has its legitimate headquarters, located at Blvd. Aleksandar Stamboliyski 45A and we will not allow illegal transfer or confiscation of party property.
- As early as Monday, we will make a request for the cancellation of this illegal act, formed without the parliamentary groups being constituted and without a decision of the DPS leadership to provide another building to the party.
We believe that the Bulgarian institutions should work calmly in the interest of the Bulgarian citizens, and not be ostracized and humiliated in the interest of one person. We are and will remain a party that defends national interests, democracy and institutional order. History has proven that the truth, supported by our will and unity, always wins.
