"The activity is terribly low. This changes a lot of plans. With such activity, the whole picture begins to deform".
This is what Parvan Simeonov, executive director of "Gallup International Balkan", commented to BNR.
"These elections were not conducted normally. It's an anomaly where everything is downhill. An anomaly that is due to fatigue, to the fact that the nth election is being made, and to the well-known protest against the mainstream sound. A protest that is expressed either in not voting or in voting for protest options," he explained.
"In recent months, wherever I went, literally everywhere there was someone asking me, "How is Colonel Markov doing?". He had become a legend. This expression for Colonel Markov became something of an internal factory joke. It turned out to be no joke. These people have been operating for a long time. Maybe it was just a matter of time," noted Parvan Simeonov in an interview for the show "Before all".
However, according to him, it is difficult to compare the path of "Revival" and "Majesty":
"If "Revival" it has a clearer profile, but here it seems to me more networked, more amorphous, at first glance there is no clear, clarified physiognomy".
"The stick of Grigorova through the fingers of the political elite has now been replaced by the even tougher stick of "Greatness", the sociologist expressed his opinion. However, according to him, such type of formations, which have suddenly found themselves in the National Assembly, must be very careful.
According to him, if Rumen Radev's party appears tomorrow, the activity will jump again. Activity jumps when someone new and big comes along, he pointed out, and it may turn out that Radev is the necessary buffer against full radicalization:
"The way to fight radicalization is to offer the moderate reading of it".
Everything that is protest or nationalist is on the rise or at least stable, Simeonov stated.
"It's starting to appear more left, more punitive, more prickly, more eastern. This is also "Revival", this is Grigorova, this is also "Greatness", "Sword". Kostadinov broke through a partina, through which other people will also pass. In the end, Radev himself can come for her and simply take everything.
According to Parvan Simeonov, the most logical thing now is to "first reduce partisanship":
"This must first come from PP-DB. There must be humility there. They must understand well that the warning is indeed very serious. The cardboard is orange. They are categorically not in a position to set conditions, they must be aware of this".
The sociologist also emphasized that Borisov and GERB are losing a lot of votes, but this is not noticeable: "GERB is 100-150 down. This is not a joke.
In his words, Borisov is in the difficult situation of having no one to govern with. And he must humble himself, Simeonov was categorical.
"Against the background of the punishment that the political elite experienced with these elections, everyone who cheers for Borissov to become prime minister again will be wrong. The message from these elections was expected to be that Borisov is coming back. But do you feel that we haven't talked about it for almost a day now? The message from these elections is different and it is a punishment of the political elite. Against this background, it is not good to politicize," he commented. And he continued:
"The saving grace here is that they do what they should have done with the assembly - a real blue-collar government that will do a few things according to a clear program. Not to restart the state, but simply to do some dirty work on the daily life of Bulgaria".
The sociologist is adamant that an expert formula is needed to govern the country. This, according to him, could have broad support.
