CEC: 2,268,644 Bulgarians voted for the National Assembly  - 1

The Central Electoral Office publishes data on the turnout during the vote 2 in 1 on June 9.

The elections were held with extremely low interest.

As of 8:00 p.m. on June 9, 34.41% of voters or 2,268,644 people voted for people's representatives.

For comparison, in the previous parliamentary elections in April 2023, 40.69% or 2,683,606 people voted.

33.79% or 2,074,192 people voted for candidates for the European Parliament.

The highest turnout was in 23 MIR Sofia – 42.07% or 172,233 people voted for the European Parliament, and for the National Assembly – 41.52% or 176,037 people.

The fewest voters went to the polls in Sliven district, where 24.21% or 41,171 people cast their vote for the Bulgarian Parliament, and for candidates for the European Parliament – 23.65% or 38,626 people.
