„Yes, on September 9, Peevski got his DPS. I commented on this immediately after the case, the decision of which came out quickly, this had not happened before. I predicted that Peevski's DPS would win the DPS case the next day. And so it happened“.
This is what the People's Representative from the "BSP for Bulgaria" said. Hristo Prodanov in the show "Delnitsi" of Eurocom. And added:
„The problem, I would even say - the pain of all this is that this is how dependencies are created, this is how dependent politicians are created, who then fulfill the will of the padishah. Because after he helped them – in this case, for Zafirov to represent the BSP before the CEC and state institutions, then he will also ask Zafirov to fulfill his conditions”, Prodanov pointed out.
In his words, this is exactly what Cornelia Ninova and the team now alongside her fought against: “We managed to protect the BSP from addictions during this time. Ninova was uncomfortable behind the scenes, she did not allow herself to be led by the nose and vote what Borisov and Peevski told her. I have said it many times - as long as Peevski and Borisov are in Bulgarian politics, there will be no light in the tunnel, we will continue to stand at the head of all negative European rankings, dependencies will become deeper and deeper, the state – increasingly corrupt and the people increasingly suffering and poor”, commented Hristo Prodanov.
He stressed: „During these 8 years, while Ninova was the chairman, the National Council excluded two people – these are Kiril Dobrev and Georgi Gergov. This is the sign that Cornelia Ninova gave and fought for - our fight as a team to clean the BSP from behind the scenes and addictions. Now I understand – they return to BSP“.
„An interesting symbiosis occurs with the so-called new left unification,” commented Prodanov, and in response to a question from the host, he added: “Maya Manolova initially said that she proposed Peevski as head of DANS, but we all know that Stanishev is the one who suggested it. Now, we will probably see both of them together, as leaders of BSP lists”.
To the question of whether the page for Ninova in the BSP has finally been closed, Prodanov answered: “Only the socialists can say that. People in places, those with whom we have worked together will say which policy they support – whether of the addictions and the backstage or the fight against it”.
In the conversation about what happened in the BSP and morality in politics: “Nobody likes and wants traitors in their team. Ninova's deputies, who announced themselves as the new leadership and who until now hid behind her, will now have to take responsibility from 1 person, singular”, Prodanov pointed out and gave an example:
„Gutsanov, who in 3 consecutive elections is the chairman of the pre-election headquarters of the BSP. It's an unwritten law after you have bad results – the head of the pre-election headquarters to bear responsibility. For the bad results, in addition to the chairman of the Executive Bureau, the chairman of the pre-election headquarters is mostly responsible. Gutsanov, nevertheless, despite the fact that his results in Varna were BSP - the eighth political force, and “Greatness” even come to the fore, he is now in the “new“ leadership and is defined as a unifier”, the socialist pointed out.
Hristo Prodanov was categorical: “Unification happens with policies, when the people below trust these policies and stand behind them, united. The mechanical unification from above of Zafirov, Gutsanov, Manolova, Sasho Tomov, etc. not a union of the left. This is a union of some leaders, probably for leadership positions in the lists or other posts. We did not betray our constituents. I have only been to 23 WORLDS. And I.F. Zafirov has never repeated an electoral district, he pointed out and reacted with a rhetorical question: "You are splitting the party that brings votes – BSP, and you unite with someone who carries 0.2 percent“.
In his words, only a united society can be strong, united by national priorities. “We are hindered by the division, the backstage and the parallel state. What Ninova and we as a team fought against for 8 years”.
