A Russian aircraft SSJ-100 caught fire at the airport in Antalya.
According to preliminary data, a fire broke out on board an Azimut Airlines Sukhoi Superjet 100-95LR aircraft that flew in from Sochi. There were no casualties among the crew and passengers.
According to eyewitnesses, the engine caught fire first. Because of the incident, the runway where the plane landed was closed for landing and takeoff.
The burned plane is seven years old and has been flying for the airline since December 2017, the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Artyom Korenyako, said on the Telegram channel.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident.
