Very one truth is evident, no matter where we stand in all these conflicts - history is coming back with a very brutal force, after some 30 years in which we thought it was over. I wonder where those people from Bulgaria are, who for years scoffed at any mention of investing in the armed forces, returning the barracks. Or the "Be a soldier" campaign, which fell under some terrible mockery, because if you see talk about barracks or army is a thing of the past, this thing that smells of mold, of social, and from now on we will only think about technology and Netflix. This is what the international analyst Kristijan Shkvarek said in the studio of "The Day ON AIR".
According to him, the conflicts will never go away.
"I'm angry that we fight over every single one of these conflicts - who's right, who's wrong. The real reasonable question is how we here prepare for these storms and how we prepare for the return of the history of world geopolitics, for this there will be wars. The world is starting to burn again, and we are sitting and sleeping", added Shkvarek on Bulgaria ON AIR.
"There is no clear political compass in Bulgaria"
He recalled that the Scandinavians had begun to return the barracks.
"Other countries are preparing for this shock return of history on the world stage, and here we are sleeping, and when we wake up, we are arguing about who is right and who is wrong. Show me one position, one policy of the "Freedom Party" in Austria, of Le Pen, of the AfD, which is extreme from the early Merkel, or from the early Barack Obama. Throughout her career, Merkel was against gay marriage," the international analyst recalled.
According to him, in Bulgaria there is no clear political compass between conservative and liberal, as it is in Western Bulgaria.
From Djokovic to the pylon in Rojen
"We are divided in every case that arises in society - from Djokovic to the pylon in Rojen. The reason why they go to elections less and less is that, at the political level, the parties have totally given up on fighting any kind of clear, political battle. There is no competition there. Do Americans know why they are going to the polls now? They know. Did the French know why they were going to the polls? It was clear again. Who is competing in Bulgaria? Everyone collaborates in some way at some point," emphasized Kristijan Škvarek.
He revealed that a few months ago he shot a report about the "migrant quarter" that had formed behind the Halls.
"After 2015, Syrians moved in, but we will cry for them, it turned out that they were mostly civilized people. They left after 2019, and after 2020 Afghans moved in - young men, 5-10 men each. It looks like a real Western European ghetto - it's the perfect center of Sofia. The problem with migration is serious", warns the expert.
He is adamant that our border should be closed immediately.
Skvarek believes that if Donald Trump wins the election, there is a possibility that a right-wing conservative coalition will be assembled in our country, which will begin to solve the problems.
