The authentic DPS expresses readiness for a dialogical and constructive approach with other political subjects. We would support for presidents people's representatives who are outside the scope of hidden or overt relations with the "New Beginning" and representatives of "Revival". This is what Jevdet Chakarov from the “Alliance for Rights and Freedoms”, who attended the National Council of the Youth DPS, told journalists in Plovdiv.
Chakarov did not comment on whether he would support Atanas Atanasov from "We continue the change-Democratic Bulgaria" for Speaker of the National Assembly. (PP-DB) and pointed out that there is still no official information about the proposal. He emphasized that he welcomes a meeting between GERB and PP-DB, but was adamant that the dialogue and talks should be public, "so that everyone can see in what way and what is proposed." We need to see a program, priorities, Euro-Atlantic orientation," Chakarov added.
We need to find a way out of this serious political, unprecedented crisis, in order to have an accelerated development of the country, to overcome the demographic crisis, to make the Recovery and Sustainability Plan work, the national representative continued. According to him, the parliament needs to work in order to adopt the anti-corruption laws for the reform of the judicial system, as well as to stop the current procedure for electing the chief prosecutor.
The council of the Youth DPS was attended by MEP Ilhan Kyuchyuk and people's representatives. At the beginning of the meeting, a greeting was read by Ahmed Dogan, in which he said that there must be a serious structural reform in the authentic DPS, and the Youth DPS will necessarily take its rightful place in it. "You will have to live in another geopolitical world, which will be politically multipolar and culturally multilayered. Your political and existential choices tomorrow will be much more complicated than today's. And that's exactly why you need to have a sure compass in the face of the basic values you believe in in your political and personal world," Dogan writes.
