From PP-DB we had a meeting with colleagues from BSP on their initiative. They wanted us to support Natalia Kiselova for Speaker of the Parliament. We have stated that we want support for our declaration of a “sanitary cordon” and complete isolation of Delyan Peevski. This was explained by Ivaylo Mirchev from PP-DB.
„After short negotiations, the BSP colleagues said that they agree in principle, but they should ask GERB if they would agree to the BSP supporting the declaration on the “sanitary cordon”. This did not happen and therefore we voted with “abstained” in the hall. Peevski wanted to taint the election and therefore “DPS - New beginning” supported the candidacy of Assoc. Kiselova”, added the MP from PP-DB.
