The most expensive new homes are in Luxembourg. The average price per square meter there is 8760 EUR. In second and third position are Israel and the United Kingdom, respectively with prices of 6130 EUR/sq.m and 5200 EUR/sq.m. The TOP 5 also includes Austria and Portugal with an average price per square meter of new construction of 5050 EUR/sq.m.

At the other end of the ranking, the first place is held by Turkey with an average price for new residential construction of 950 EUR/sq.m. It is more expensive in Bosnia and Herzegovina - 1480 EUR/sq.m. The difference between Albania and Romania is only 60 EUR/sq.m, respectively 1620 EUR/sq.m. and 1680 EUR/sq m. In Greece the price is 1790 EUR/sq m.

These statistics take into account actual transactions, not announced prices, which means that the report is based on transaction results.

The largest increase in the price per square meter in new buildings during the year was in Poland – by 19.3%. Prices increased significantly in Albania (+16.6%), Bosnia and Herzegovina and Israel (+12.7% in both countries). This is followed by Hungary (+11.7%), Croatia and Romania (+11.5%), Italy (+11.2%) and Greece (+10.2%).

The biggest drop is in Turkey (-12%).
