The renovation of the multi-storey covered parking lot at “Vasil Levski“ Airport continued for a little over 1 year. The concessionaire invested 16.6 million EUR in the renovation. With this, the total investment since the beginning of the concession reaches 93 million EUR.
The renovated parking lot also has updated prices. The lowest amount is 3 EUR for 30 minutes. One hour of stay is 6 EUR, and one for 24 hours - 25 EUR. There is also an option for a weekly fee of 65 EUR.
After the renovation, the parking lot now has 930 spaces, distributed over 5 levels, one of which is completely newly created and significantly increases capacity of the parked cars. About 30 of the spaces are for cars of people with disabilities. The parking lot is connected by a hot connection to the Terminal 2 building.
It is interesting to note that all concrete waste generated during the construction activities was removed and recycled by the main contractor “GBS-Infrastructure Construction“ and reused in the renovation of the parking lot.
