A haunted complex in Pomorie is falling apart

It is known locally as "Dutch Village"

The huge hotel complex “Sunset Resort” in Pomorie, which was closed at the end of 2022, has begun to collapse, reports Nikolay Andreev, quoted by Flagman.bg. The footage shows the facade of the building, which has begun to gradually crumble. It is unclear what the nature of the material that fell from the face of the building is, but a metal structure, possibly a gutter or ventilation, is visible beneath the fallen pieces.

Known as the “Dutch Settlement” hotel complex, when it was at its peak a few years ago, had nearly 3,000 beds and was an invariable part of the tourist image of Pomorie. The problem, which had been going on for at least 5 years, was that the owners of apartments in the building had entered into a dispute with the owner of the complex, which subsequently turned into a war. It got to the point that MEP Claire Daly was called to the field to defend the interests of home owners.

The reason was that the people in question - mainly Irish and Russians - did not agree with the complex's policy regarding electricity and water bills, as well as high maintenance fees.

In this way, the most beautiful complex on the Southern Black Sea coast until 10 years ago turned into a haunted castle. The bad thing about the local business is that it is located at the very entrance of Pomorie and repels with its destructive vision.
