The Grand Prize at the International Folklore Festival “Songs and Dances without Borders” in Svilengrad was awarded to the Folkloric Dance Group “The Creator” from the town of Svishtov. The winners received a diploma, a plaque and a cash prize.
The festival was held for three days on an open stage in the “Youth” park. Over 700 singers, dancers and instrumentalists took part in it. The awards – cash prizes for the first place finishers, gold, silver and bronze medals, plaques and diplomas were distributed in 20 categories in three different age groups.
The award of the mayor of Svilengrad municipality arch. Anastas Karchev, under whose patronage the festival is held, was awarded the "Svetlina 1900" NB, Tsalapitsa village, Rodopi municipality, region. Plovdiv for a complete presentation of the singing and dancing formations.

Individual performer instrumentalist up to 11 years - Prolet Uzunova – Association “The Creator”, Svishtov.
Individual performer instrumentalist from 12 to 16 years – Ioan Petrov – "Rhodopsky lighthouse 1938" NB, town of Kardzhali.
Singing group authentic folklore up to 11 years old - DFG “Thracian Wrist” at "Prosveta 1870" Primary School, Svilengrad.
Singing group processed folklore up to 16 years old - duet Veselina and Bozhidar Dachevi - NCH “Izgrev 1921”, Mezek village, Svilengrad municipality.
Dance troupe up to 16 years old - Children's dance troupe “Srednogorski poloh”, town of Ihtiman.
Individual artist singer over 16 years old - Lidiya Leonidova – Primary School “P.R. Slaveikov 1908”, Plovdiv.
Singing group authentic folklore over 16 years - Folk group “Georgi Fershelov” at the "Probuda 1896" school, Gorski Izvor village, Dimitrovgrad municipality.
Singing group processed folklore over 16 years - Women's folk choir “Native song” at the "P.R. Slaveikov 1908" Primary School, Plovdiv.
Dance clubs and formations studying Bulgarian folk folk over 16 years - Dance club “Kalekovets” at the "Probuda 1927" municipal school, Kalekovets village, Maritsa municipality, region Plovdiv.
Dance troupe over 16 years old - Dance troupe “Srednogorsk poloh” at the association "Srednogorsk Polakh", town of Ikhtiman, region Sofia.
Five-year-old Ivan Grozev from the Children's Vocal Group “Radost” received the award for the youngest participant in the festival. at DG "Radost", town of Svilengrad.
A special award for a foreign participant in the festival went to: the Bulgarian school “Tsar Simeon the Great” to the Bulgarian-Greek Educational Association of the village of Dikea and the town of Orestiada, Republic of Greece, Dance Club “Balkan” at the Edirne branch of "Prosveta 1870", Republic of Turkey, Group for Balkan Folk Dances, Edirne and Folklore Group of the City Council of Edirne, Republic of Turkey.
