The masquerade “new government” it can be better understood as a muscle test between two rival DS groupings linked to the past - whose political faces are Radev and Peevski. Between them there is a delicate balance in services and regulators, due to the protection of Russian interests in our country. They have also conditionally parceled out the energy sector - some support Russia's oil and others gas business in our country.

The battle for more power is permanent - at home for access to the budget and control over services. Outside - for an apparent partnership with the USA and collaboration with Putin's Russia. Three factors make their public rhetoric appear geopolitically distinct and confusing to observers.
The first factor is external commitments.
One has made political commitments to its political families in the EU, and the other has none in the West, but has made such commitments in the East.
The second factor is dependencies.
One group has to fix its political image in front of the West, and the other has to thank the East for its election.
The third factor is the chosen political niches.
One group owes its political support to pro-European right-wing and far-right voters, and the other to left-wing and far-left anti-European voters.
Currently, the first grouping - which controls the caretaker cabinet - is fighting to form a first-term government. And the second - to have no government at all or, as a last resort, with the third mandate, where it would have the strongest influence under the guise of “expertise”.
The first group has amassed untold wealth and now wants to keep it through the DPS through overt cooperation with the US and covert cooperation with Russia. And the other group wants to get its own by building a strong political entity that would reduce membership in the EU and NATO to an imitation and practically return Bulgaria to the Russian zone.
The first group relies on attracting political support from GERB - through BB's dependencies and the political projects of other oligarchs - Vazrazhdane and ITN. They especially need PP-DB for European legitimation, but only as a person for hire without authority.
The second group started from the BSP, but lost it and since then has made constant attempts to build a lasting political entity in the center-left. So far, however, all attempts have failed - BSP (because of the conflict with Cornelia; PP (because of the betrayal of the ”charlatans”), Vazkhoda (unsuspected indistinctness), Solidarna Bulgaria (a firework darkened after the local elections) and finally "Velichie". After the fall of Cornelia, now the BSP is returning to this camp, which will try to become the center of Russophilia in our country - and with a 30% united vote to take power, led by Radev It is unlikely, but it is not excluded, that Vazrazhdane will join in some form, if its owners from Varna see a greater benefit for themselves.
This is our Jurassic Park, where spectators are fed up with spectacles while the two gangs steal their bread under their noses.
