The President once again demonstrates his unrelenting ambition for his upcoming path: to fight to be a major power player! He handed over the mandate to the ITN, with whom he IMAGINE he had a relationship of trust.
This commented on "Facebook" Kalina Androlova.
Radev's grandiose plan was for ITN to conduct special negotiations with the other parties and create a scheme/protest spectacle in the parliament to announce a new speaker of the National Assembly. Radev would then have the opportunity to appoint him as the new caretaker prime minister. Thus, Radev was about to deprive GERB and Peevski of control over the official government, and return the gesture for the decision of the Constitutional Court.
It would not be difficult to find a majority for the removal of Glavchev, but such a parliamentary movement cannot pass without the consent of “Vazrazhdane”.
A “Revival“ they are not in favor of Radev's games and Koprinkovshtinas and they are not fascinated by Radev's gesture of granting the mandate to ITN. Also, another deepening crisis in our political fabric would arise if a crude and ill-conceived reason for the removal of Raya Nazarian was brought out.
Certainly this will not create the atmosphere for a future sustainable government. The PP/DB would make another strategic mistake if they were easily caught on the line "we hate Peevski" in order to ignite an explosive scandal on the eve of the elections.
This will harden retaliatory reactions, refocus the war on them, consolidate their enemies once more, and they will organize for new strikes arising from self-defense. If they are smart, which is not certain, the PP/DB will let the division in the camp of their enemies create a situation convenient for the forces of internal purity, let them clean each other, check, tell. A new election of the Speaker of the Parliament will blow up the atmosphere, bring in a new topic, and once again offend the very extreme GERB, without whom the PP/DB have no option for anything in politics.
PP/DB's strategy should be to divide the political enemy, not to consolidate on defense. Radev once again wished to be very strong, even from the position of limited powers to a minimum. He reaffirms the reason why his powers were cut. But I'm beginning to suspect that the ITNs are fooling him hard and creating noise in his own system.
Most important for ITN is how to profit from political brokering, and proximity to the president is an option to consider. If something interesting happens, well, if it doesn't – well again, we think of interesting scenarios, an extravaganza of abstractions and comprehensive calculations, and so and so, where we can and where our strings are pulled. The backstage of ITN also enters through Radev's offices.
But if a coalition is to be made with Radev's enemies, it can also be considered. So what, politics is a virtual spectacle, not a real responsibility. It is not so bad for democracy in Bulgaria that Radev tries to put his key moves in artists who make their living by creating entertainment, debunking authorities and creating a kind of theater, anti-theatre and stage creativity. This is how he achieves a real show, wandering around the stage, illuminating his ambitions and ways, as well as funny texts on scandalous sites.
