The world is driven by the concept of "electrify everything". During the Bolshevik Revolution, Lenin's definition of communism was "electrification plus Soviet power". Electrification - well, Soviet power - and we saw that, but it did not last. Today, capitalist production seems to be striving for its electrification, which finds expression everywhere. If the above was typical of the beginning of the 20th century, then today, for your electrification to break... Is a problem.

In Bulgaria
However, this happens in our country every winter. More snow falls somewhere and the electricity goes out. And the suffering begins. It is winter, but without electricity. And then they give you 30 leva!?
The Cabinet allocates 2 million leva to support the remaining households without electricity in the conditions of the complicated winter situation, the government press service announced.

The decision of the Cabinet
Each of the three electricity distribution companies should pay the penalties provided for in the general terms and conditions of the contracts for access to the respective electricity distribution network. According to them, customers who have been without power for more than 48 hours should receive a penalty of 30 leva for the first 24 hours after this period, and if the outage is over 36 hours - 20 leva for 12 hours.
In addition to this, the state will duplicate this compensation by paying 30 leva to consumers who have been without power for more than 24 hours, and for each subsequent period of 12 hours - 20 leva for each period started. The expected number of households is over 20,000, which will be assisted with a total of over 2 million leva.

Summary
You sit without electricity for 48 hours in the winter – this is somehow normal in our country. You get nothing. For every next 24 hours (so the third day), you get 30 leva from the ERP, and now 30 leva from the state – a total of 60 leva (if you have no electricity for three days in the winter!?). For three days without electricity, the refrigerator is defrosted. Everything inside is… For 30 leva, possibly 60. And will any minister in the Council of Ministers agree to an experiment where we pay him 60 leva to stay without electricity for 3 days. Just to see what winter without electricity is like… Or are experiments only for ordinary people…
