Barcelona president Joan Laporta hopes for up to two years for the Norwegian goal machine at Manchester City Erling Holland to become a player for the Catalans, Diario Sport claims, FOCUS reported.
According to the information, Laporta intends to make the transfer move before the end of his term.
Despite Barcelona's dire financial situation, Laporta has been developing a detailed strategy for a long time to secure the signing of Holland in 2025 or 2026.
It is added that as part of this strategy, Laporta has managed to build close relationships with people from the Norwegian striker's entourage.
This season, Erling Holland has 10 appearances for Manchester City in all competitions in which he has scored 11 goals.
