Fonseca: I didn't want to see anyone after Fiorentina loss - 1

Milan's latest loss has left coach Paulo Fonseca very angry, as he stated that he will not take into account the names of the players when he criticizes them, reported Reuters, quoted by BTA.

The Portuguese cannot accept the way his team suffered a 1:2 defeat by Fiorentina. Then Theo Hernandez and Tammy Abraham missed penalties and Christian Palusic started and the coach couldn't understand why there was a substitution. Hernandez was ejected at the end of the match for protesting against the referees.

"I was so angry after the Fiorentina match that it was better not to see anyone," Fonseca said in his press conference before the Udinese match. "We were only with a few players at training during the week, and the national team only came back yesterday. We talked about the match with Fiorentina, and today also about the match with Udinese. I know a lot has been said about the match in Florence, for me it is important", said the specialist.

Fonseca is under pressure, with his team only sixth in the table, five points behind leaders Napoli, and Milan having lost both of their Champions League games.

"I don't close my eyes to problems. "We have them and we have to solve them," said Fonseca. "For me, no player is more important than the team and those who make mistakes must take responsibility. "If someone doesn't follow the instructions, it's difficult for me," admitted the coach.

"I have nothing to prove to anyone, I am not an actor. In football today there is a great need to notice myself, I am not that kind of person and it has been like that since the first day in the team. You can ask the players," answered Paulo Fonseca when asked if there was control in the dressing room.
