Botev (Vratsa) and Lokomotiv (Plovdiv) finished 0:0 in a match of the eighth round of the football First League, BTA reported.
The first half offered almost no emotions, and after the break Daniil Kondrakov and Juan Perea each made a big miss for both teams. This was Lokomotiv's first match without coach Luboslav Penev, as the Plovdiv team was led by Hristo Zlatinski. Botev returned to his stadium in Vratsa after the grass cover was changed.
In the first minutes of the match, nothing interesting happened in front of either goal. In the middle of the first half came the first shuffle in Lokomotiv's penalty area after a corner kick, but goalkeeper Martin Lukov managed to clear the ball.
The first accurate shot at one of the two goals came in the last minute of the first half, when Martin Petkov sent a shot that bounced in front of goalkeeper Federico Barrios, but did not make it difficult.
In the 52nd minute, Botev reached his cleanest position so far in the match. Brian Perea released the ball to Daniil Kondrakov, who from a clear position shot wide of the goal.
Lokomotiv had a great chance to take the lead in the 76th minute. Botev's defense then misjudged the ball and the striker broke away alone against the goalkeeper Barrios, his shot hitting the right post of the goal.
In the last seconds of the match, Botev (Vratsa) reserve Martin Smolenski shot from the outside of the right post of the visitors' goal.
Lokomotiv tied in the standings with Krumovgrad, with both teams having 13 points each. Botev remained in the penultimate 15th position with 9 points.
