Inter Miami has already secured the prize for the MLS regular season champion, but despite this does not stop sweeping away its rivals, reported Sportal.bg.

Tonight, Tata Martino's alumni beat the New England Revolution 6:2. Two of the heroes for the hosts were Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, with the former scoring a hat-trick and the latter adding two more goals for his team's success.

The match did not start well for Inter, who were the first to concede two goals in their own goal, the work of Luca Langoni in the 2nd and Dylan Borrero in the 34th minute.

However, Luis Suarez brought the hosts back into the game. The Uruguayan first reduced the score in the 40th minute, taking advantage of an assist from Hector Martinez, and in the 43rd he restored the tie with a shot on the ground from the edge of the penalty area.

Lionel Messi was left on the bench, but in the 58th minute he appeared in the game and immediately contributed to the third goal. He elegantly led Jordi Alba into the penalty area, and the Spaniard passed to Benjamin Kremaski, who scored for 3:2.

Messi's show, however, was just beginning. In the 78th minute, he made the score 4:2, signing off with a shot from outside the penalty area.

Only three minutes later, the Argentinian scored his second goal of the match, after he was brought alone against the goalkeeper and made no mistake for 5:2.

Finally, Messi made the final 6:2 and his hat-trick in the 89th minute, catching Suarez's great pass from close range.

With this victory, Inter Miami now has 74 points at the top of the Eastern Conference standings, which is a record for one MLS season. For the New England Revolution, it was their fourth straight loss and the team is in 14th place in the table with 31 points.
