According to a recent survey, drivers expect electronic assistants to improve their level of comfort and safety, and also dream of help finding free parking spaces parking and optimal routes.
Young people want to see elements in modern car technology that will make driving easier by providing them with guidance. At the same time, the majority of respondents believe that control over the vehicle's management should remain in the hands of the driver.
The ability to receive warnings about dangerous situations on the roads ahead is particularly valued (55%). Almost half of the respondents are also interested in systems that can dynamically adjust the route depending on the traffic density (53%), as well as information about the availability of free parking spaces (42%). For many respondents, it is important that the car can warn about the necessary maintenance and repairs.
43% of survey participants are willing to share data about their trips if it allows them to get a discount on insurance. Despite the obvious interest in electronic assistants in the car, only 15% of respondents are ready to completely entrust the management of their car to autopilot.
When choosing a car, young people pay attention to the presence of modern systems that facilitate driving and increase safety. The most popular features today are parking sensors (42%), navigation system (36%), adaptive cruise control (22%), automatic emergency braking and internet connection (20%).
