Amid the ongoing fighting in the Gaza Strip, the approval rating for the way US President Joe Biden is handling the war between Israel and "Hamas" has fallen to its lowest point, The Hill reports, citing a Harvard CAPS survey/ Harris Poll.
As this poll showed, Biden's actions regarding the conflict in the Middle East are supported by only 36% of respondents in America. Furthermore, last month 39% of respondents expressed their support, and in October of last year, when this question was first asked, 44% of respondents expressed this position.
Three-quarters of those polled said Israel should continue "the Rafah operation to end the war with Hamas" while doing everything possible to avoid casualties, even if there are casualties. Others chose a different option: Israel should "withdraw now and allow Hamas to continue to rule the Gaza Strip”.
