US and UK hit four airstrikes on the airport in the Yemeni city of Hodeidah and the port of Salif in the north. This was reported by "Reuters", referring to the Houthi television channel "Al Masira".
"US-British warplanes carried out four airstrikes on Hodeidah Airport in western Yemen and one airstrike on Al-Jad Pier in Salif Port, targeting fishing boats," the Hodeidah Provincial Information Office said in the "Telegram" .
The Iranian-backed Houthis attacked ships in the Red Sea. They claim they are acting in solidarity with the Palestinians, while Israel and "Hamas" waging war in Gaza. Since November, they have repeatedly carried out drone and missile strikes in the Red Sea, the Bab el Mandeb Strait and the Gulf of Aden.
Their actions prompted airstrikes by the United States and Great Britain.
