US President-elect Donald Trump said that his inauguration ceremony will be indoors due to low temperatures and that the presidential parade will be held at the "Capital One" sports hall (Capital One) in Washington, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
"I have ordered the inaugural address, along with prayers and other speeches, to be delivered in the rotunda of the U.S. Capitol," Trump wrote on the social network "Truth Social".
Such a change and taking the presidential oath indoors has not been made since the second inauguration of former Republican President Ronald Reagan, Reuters notes.
CNN adds that the decision to change the organization was dictated by concerns for people's health.
