Transfer of F-16 fighters to Ukraine will change radically the situation on the battlefield and will allow the military of Kiev to create conditions for the organization of a counterattack. This was assured by the military expert and former commander of the missile troops and artillery of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Poland, Jarosław Kraszewski, in an interview with the Ukrinform news agency.
"The situation will change radically on the battlefield when the Ukrainian aviation starts using the F-16. I think that then a lot of positive things will happen for Ukraine, the planes will make it possible to create conditions for a counterattack. And I hope that Ukraine will have such a plan for the fall, given the need to protect the country's critical infrastructure before the onset of winter, because Ukrainians must have normal living conditions – electricity, water, gas“, noted the expert.
According to him, the Ukrainian aviation should receive long-range missiles to strike Russia's infrastructure, primarily airports.
"When this happens, the logistics of the Russian army will be cut off from the main forces. If this can be done, then the command of the Ukrainian army should create a strike group and strike. And not in many directions, but in one or at most two. The Ukrainian command knows better where to do it. When the Russians begin to suffer significant losses thanks to airstrikes, ATACMS missiles, etc., Putin himself will offer to start peace talks”, Kraszewski expressed confidence.
