Pope Francis reproached Trump and Harris: They are against life - 1
Pope Francis said that the two candidates in the US presidential elections in November - Republican Donald Trump, who “rejects migrants”, and Democrat Kamala Harris, who “kills children” by defending the right to abortion, are “against life”, AFP reported, quoted by dariknews.bg.

“Both (candidates) are against life. Whether it is the one who chases away migrants or the one who kills children. Both are against life, Francis told journalists on the plane returning to Rome from his long tour of Asia and Oceania.

While flying back to Rome from his four-nation tour of Asia, the Argentine Jesuit was asked during a press conference on the plane to give advice to American Catholic voters. Francis emphasized that he is not an American and will not vote, AP reported.

Neither Republican nominee Donald Trump nor Democratic nominee Kamala Harris were mentioned by name. But Francis was nonetheless scathing when asked to assess their positions on two hot-button issues in the US election - abortion and immigration - that are also of great importance to the Catholic Church.

„Murderers and terrorists": Donald Trump stepped up his attacks against migrants today, accusing his rival from the Democratic Party, Kamala Harris, of wanting to turn the US into a “refugee camp”, AFP reported, quoted by BTA.

„American children are at the mercy of barbaric criminals,” said the Republican candidate for the US presidential election at a press conference from his golf resort on the outskirts of Los Angeles.

The former president, who has been on a diatribe against migrants all week, repeated the false claim that Haitians in Springfield, Ohio, were stealing dogs and cats for food, AFP noted. “We will organize mass deportations“ in this small town in Ohio, the billionaire promised, ignoring the fact that many of these migrants have residency permits.

The 17-year-old has made immigration -- a top concern for voters according to polls -- the centerpiece of his new bid for the White House. If he wins on November 5, he promises to fight illegal immigration through mass deportations.
