Europe must take into account its geographical reality and review relations is with Russia in the future, French President Emmanuel Macron said at the international peace conference in Paris, and his speech was broadcast on the Elysee Palace account on the social network X.
„We have to think about peace in a new form. We have to take into account the geographical reality of Europe, which is not limited to the EU and certainly not to NATO. We must think about a new form of organization for Europe and rethink relations with Russia in the future, as well as peace on this continent,” said the French leader.
Macron recalled that the current world order emerged after the Second World War, when some of the densely populated states that exist today did not yet exist, which is why, according to him, it is incomplete and unjust.
„We need an order in which the countries will be represented with dignity and therefore we will do this with the help of much fairer bodies, be it the United Nations, the World Bank or the International Monetary Fund“, noted the President of the Republic, as promised to raise the issue at the 79th session of the UN General Assembly next week.
