Yemen: Israel's policy of killing will only increase resistance - 1

The policy of killing carried out by the Israeli authorities will only increase the power, the resilience and self-sacrifice of resistance. This was said in a statement by the Yemeni Foreign Ministry, published after the assassination of the leader of the Shiite movement Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, as a result of Israeli airstrikes.

„We strongly condemn the assassination of Hassan Nasrallah, who during his lifetime defended the rights and interests of the Arab and Islamic nation. Israel's policy of assassination will only increase the strength, endurance and sacrifice of the resistance in the name of restoring the rights usurped by the Zionist entity Israel and achieving victory,” Yemen's Houthi-controlled Al Masirah TV channel quoted the statement as saying.

„With the martyrdom of Hassan Nasrallah, the Arab and Islamic nation lost a great leader and a righteous son who dedicated his life to the resistance against the Zionist enemy”, the Yemeni Foreign Ministry emphasizes. /p>

„Hassan Nasrallah will remain immortal in the memory of generations and free people of the world. The proud Yemeni people will not forget the support of the leader of Hezbollah Yemen from the first day when he was subjected to aggression after being abandoned to his fate by countries near and far“, noted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

„We call on the international community to condemn this cowardly act and force the Zionist enemy to end its occupation and aggression. We confirm the firm position of the Republic of Yemen in support of the Lebanese people and their courageous resistance against the barbaric Zionist aggression“, concluded the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces said Nasrallah was killed in an Israeli airstrike that hit the southern suburbs of Beirut. The strike was carried out on Friday during a meeting of Hezbollah's leadership. On Saturday, the movement confirmed the death of its leader, saying it would continue to oppose Israel.
