At least three people were killed in an Israeli strike on Gaza City.
According to the Qatari television channel Al Jazeera, several more people were injured when Israeli forces blew up a residential building in the northwestern part of Gaza. The TV channel also reports on intensive bombing of the northern areas of the city by the Israeli Air Force.
The Shiite movement Hezbollah attacked IDF artillery positions in northern Israel. This is said in a statement published on the movement's Telegram channel. During the night, Hezbollah troops struck Israeli military positions in the towns of Safed, Dalton and Dishon, located near the border with Lebanon.
The IDF reported 50 shells fired from Lebanon, some of which were intercepted.
According to them, after the air raid sirens went off in the Upper Galilee area, “around 50 projectiles were observed flying from Lebanon towards Israeli territory”.
„Some of them were detected and fallen ones were found in the area”, the press service states.
At least 23 attacks against medical infrastructure, staff and patients have taken place in Lebanon since September 17, 2024. The attacks killed 72 people and injured 43 others, the World Health Organization (WHO) said.
In 15 cases, medical facilities were damaged, in 13 - medical transport. Out of 207 primary health centers and outpatient clinics in the country, 100 are not fully functional, and the same number have been partially evacuated.
"WHO calls for an end to attacks on healthcare. Healthcare must always be protected. "Peace is the only solution," the organization notes.
