Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared himself the victim of an assassination attempt after the military intercepted a drone aimed at his residence in the northern city of Caesarea, BNR reported.
He said organizations supported by Iran had tried to kill him and his wife and would pay a "high price".
Neither "Hezbollah" nor any of the groups at odds with Israel have claimed responsibility for the attack, which took place when the Israeli leader was not at home.
From "Hezbollah" announced earlier in the day that they had fired a large number of rockets at a military base east of Haifa, as well as the city of Safed. An Israeli was killed by shrapnel near the city of Acre.
Israel, for its part, launched new airstrikes on Beirut, the Bekaa Valley and other parts of Lebanon.
The Israeli army continues the operation in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, where in the last two weeks, according to the local rescue service, 400 people have been killed.
