Foreign China's ministry is not aware of the presence of North Korean troops in Russia, reported "Reuters".

The ministry said this in response to US claims that there is evidence that North Korea has sent 3,000 troops to Russia, who will eventually be stationed in Ukraine.

During a daily briefing, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jin said that "the Chinese side is not aware of the situation".

In Jin's words, "China's position on the Ukrainian crisis is consistent and clear, and we hope that all countries will encourage de-escalation of the situation and commit to a political solution."

According to US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, there is evidence that there are North Korean troops in Russia.
