Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant briefed his American counterpart Lloyd Austin on the results of the Israeli strikes against Iran , reported the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Jewish State.
„Minister Gallant provided information on Israeli Defense Forces precision strikes against military targets in Iran in response to Iranian attacks on the State of Israel in recent months. Minister Gallant claimed an initial successful assessment of the strikes against missile production facilities, missile launch systems and the capabilities of the Iranian Air Force”, the statement said.
The Israeli minister thanked the head of the Pentagon for the US support, including the deployment of US THAAD missile defense systems in Israel. Gallant and Austin "discussed the importance of maintaining the deterrence of Iran and its proxies in the region,", the ministry added.
