A colonel was killed as a result of a Russian strike on a police station in the center of Kharkiv, and others 30 law enforcement officers were injured, the National Police of Ukraine reported.
According to information published on the department's Telegram channel, the deceased is police colonel Andrey Matvienko.
Rescue operations continue.
There were explosions in the city on Friday, after which the head of the National Police of Ukraine, Ivan Vigovsky, announced that the attack on the police station in the center of the city, which he said was "targeted".
The State Emergency Service, for its part, reported two fires after the explosions.
