Polish President Andrzej Duda criticizes German Chancellor Olaf Scholz for his recent phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, defining it as a "mistake", reported the BBC, quoted by BTA.
"Russia is brutally attacking Ukraine, and one of the leaders of European countries with a strong economy is negotiating with the aggressor. I consider this a mistake," Andrzej Duda wrote on social networks.
He expressed doubts that the conversation between Scholz and Putin was "coordinated with the allies".
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also strongly condemned the phone conversation between the German chancellor and the Russian leader, saying that such actions "open Pandora's box".
