The Russian fifth-generation fighter jet Su-57 has achieved the necessary characteristics, becoming a "thoroughbred horse". This was reported in an interview with TASS by the test pilot and chief pilot of the "Sukhoi" design bureau; Sergey Bogdan.
„I have flown different aircraft in their different states. I flew the Su-57 at a stage when it still had the T-50 index and there were many overload restrictions. And immediately after that I managed to get into the Su-35 - it seems to be a slightly lower generation, but at such moments you understand that this machine can do anything. However, you understand that the Su-57 is a "thoroughbred horse", very promising. It has already reached the required values of the required characteristics," he said.
The Su-57 is designed to destroy all types of air, ground and surface targets. The aircraft has supersonic speed, internal weapons, radar-absorbing coating (stealth technology) and the latest on-board equipment.
