The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky today appealed to the world, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of prisoners at the Nazi concentration camp “Auschwitz“, to “prevent evil from winning“, reported Agence France-Presse, quoted by BTA.

“The memory of the Holocaust is gradually fading. We must not allow this to be forgotten“, said Zelensky.

The Ukrainian president, who has Jewish roots, stressed that it is the mission of every person to do everything possible to prevent the victory of evil. His statement contained a clear reference to Russia, also noted Agence France-Presse.
