Bold ideas in the automotive world often start simply as an extravagant digital sketch, but when the right tuning studio stands behind them, the boundaries of reality quickly blur. Proof of this is the Polish studio Indecent, which literally blew up social networks with its concept for transforming the iconic Porsche 911 into an elegant three-door shooting brake station wagon. Initially conceived as a purely visual experiment on the Internet, the project caused such a storm of enthusiasm among purists and collectors that the management immediately gave the green light for its physical implementation, finding its first extremely wealthy customer.
The basis of this radical metamorphosis will be a donor from the Porsche 911 991.2 generation, which will say goodbye to its classic slanted silhouette. The masters from Poland are preparing a complete software and physical rework of the rear part, extending the roof line and integrating completely new body panels. Ultimately, the proportions of this unique car will be reminiscent of a more compact, but far more dynamic interpretation of its larger brother, the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo, while retaining the inimitable character of a rear-engined sports car. To complete the visual shock, the vehicle will also receive the brand's iconic Indecent widebody package with aggressively widened fenders, unique alloy wheels, modified aerodynamics and a massive double rear spoiler, all dressed in a flashy orange shade.
However, the implementation of such engineering madness requires much more than installing a simple body kit, as the team must preserve the full functionality of the cabin, while adding a dose of practicality. Thanks to the new configuration, second-row passengers will finally get a little more living space in the head area, and behind their backs will open a decent luggage compartment. The real headache for the designers, however, lies in ensuring optimal cooling of the rear-mounted unit. Removing the standard ventilated hood and replacing it with a station wagon body requires the design of a complex and completely autonomous system of air ducts to prevent overheating under load. To this end, the first copy will be based on the technological platform of the Porsche 911 Turbo 991.2, whose 3.8-liter six-cylinder boxer with biturbo charging and factory 540 horsepower transfers power to all four wheels via an intelligent drive.
The process of creating this engineering marvel is already underway, with the first completed car expected to make its grand debut in the summer of 2027 on the stage of the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Indecent's plans for the future are ambitious - this exclusive conversion will be offered as an option to the company's existing wide body kits for the 991.1 and 991.2 generations, covering the top-of-the-line Turbo, Turbo S and brutal GT2 RS versions. The hand-crafting of each subsequent unit will take about four months, but absolute exclusivity will come at a price. Turning your Porsche 911 into a shooting brake will cost a mind-boggling $350,000, and that doesn't even include the value of the donor car itself. However, the Polish studio has already proven that it's not afraid of such challenges, with successful projects behind it such as wide bodies for the 997 generation, as well as its own highly customized interpretations in the Dakar style and retro Slantnose.
