"The strategic partnership between Bulgaria and the US is key to the upward development of our relations," said Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov to US President Donald Trump in New York.
Prime Minister Zhelyazkov participated in the traditional reception given by the US President on the occasion of the UN General Assembly session.
During their brief conversation, Zhelyazkov pointed to energy and defense as some of the most important areas in which the US and Bulgaria are achieving historic successes and are rapidly deepening their cooperation.
