A man died this morning after an accident in Ruse. This was announced by the regional spokesperson of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the city, Daniela Malcheva.
A report of the incident was filed at around 6:45 a.m. A car crashed on "Tutrakan" Blvd. in the area of a roundabout. The car with a Ruse registration was driven by a 52-year-old man. When entering the roundabout, the car hit a concrete column head-on.
Police and emergency teams were immediately sent to the scene. The driver was taken by ambulance to the University Hospital "Kanev", where they later reported that he had died.
The causes of the accident are being clarified.
