Venko Sabrutev from PP-DB commented on "The Day Begins with Georgi Lyubenov" whether there has been any change in the state after the great rebellion.

The state budget offers us mega-corruption, said Venko Sabrutev.

In his words, "this corruption will be paid for by our children and their children".

"Every Bulgarian family will buy a brand new iPhone from Borisov and Peevski, thanks to this state budget".

Venko Sabrutev said that "this budget is fundamentally wrong". According to him, Borisov's message was categorical that this budget will continue its consideration. According to him, the withdrawal of the 2026 Budget is not a boycott of our country's entry into the eurozone. A completely new budget can be adopted within the month of December, he added. And he asked - is there political will not to steal?

"We are talking to Borisov about deficits, about impoverishing people, we are talking about excessive increases in taxes and social security contributions. And he - will you touch my ears? This is Borisov. We do not trust Borisov. Even during the creation of the Budget, we showed that there can be a normal budget if there is no stealing. It is absurd to allocate nearly 50% of GDP for expenses. This means that taxes and social security will be raised in the state.

He was categorical that there was no way they could be at the negotiating table because "Borisov and Peevski are there".

Regarding the protest, Venko Sabrutev said that 20,000 people had given this government a red card.

"They came not just because of the budget, but because of corruption. You can't buy an apartment that costs 200,000 for 2 million. A panel house in Lyulin can't be the same price as a house in Malibu on the first line with dolphins jumping up. This is what this budget represents - 1000 pages, in which every line is theft.

Sabrutev stated that the protest is against corruption and against Bulgarian society becoming poorer with the state budget for 2026. He is for a pro-European Bulgaria and for a fair life here.

According to the PP-DB MP, the topic today is not Rumen Radev and the focus of society should not be shifted. The focus is on how society will live next year.

At the end of the conversation, Venko Sabrutev invited all viewers to come to the protest on Monday, "to defend their right to a fair life".
