Rumen Radev sent new ambassadors to Italy, Portugal, Finland and Colombia

President Rumen Radev issued decrees appointing new ambassadors to four countries, BTA announced.

Ivan Kondov is the new Bulgarian ambassador to Italy. He was the acting Minister of Internal Affairs in several acting governments.

Elena Shekerletova is the new ambassador to Portugal. Until now, she was Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Zornitsa Apostolova, President Radev's foreign policy advisor, becomes Bulgaria's ambassador to Finland.

Our country's ambassador to Brazil, Eleonora Dimitrova, has also been appointed ambassador to Colombia.

According to the Constitution, the president appoints the heads of diplomatic missions upon the proposal of the Council of Ministers.

The decrees on the appointment of diplomats are published in the "State Gazette".
