We, the members of the Permanent Presence /PP/ of the Agricultural Union "Alexander Stamboliyski, as representatives of one of the oldest and most authentic political forces in Bulgaria, are following with deep concern the erosion of statehood and the deepening gap between the political class and the Bulgarian people. Yesterday's act by President Rumen Radev is a long-awaited step towards true renewal. This is not just a resignation, but an assumption of responsibility before the history and the future of Bulgaria.
We, the members of the Agricultural Union "Alexander Stamboliyski", declare full support for the stated goals. We believe that the vision of a "new social contract" proposed by Rumen Radev is the only way out of institutional paralysis. Bulgaria needs strong leadership, morality in politics and the restoration of justice.
As a union that has always professed the principles of democracy and the protection of the national interest, we see in the person of Rumen Radev a leader who puts the prosperity of the state and the well-being of the Bulgarian people above narrow party calculations. We declare our full readiness to join with all our organizational capacity, expertise and structures throughout the country in the construction of the new political entity. We offer not just support, but a partnership based on common values - bread, land and honesty in governance.
We call on our members and supporters throughout Bulgaria to prepare for a decisive political battle. The time for passivity is over.
We believe that unification around the values declared by Rumen Radev is a chance for Bulgaria to become a normal and prosperous country.
