An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 on the Richter scale was registered on the island of Crete, FOCUS reported.
This is according to a report on the website of the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).
The epicenter of the earthquake was 181 km west of Heraklion, Greece, 57 km southwest of Kissamos, Greece, at a depth of 31 km.
The earthquake was registered at 0:33 local time (coincides with Bulgarian time).
