The payment of pensions in March through “Bulgarian Posts“ will begin on the 9th (Monday) and will end on March 20th (Friday), the National Social Security Institute (NSI) announced.
Post offices pay pensions and supplements to them in the period from the 7th to the 20th of the month to which they apply, the Social Security Institute reminded. When these dates are non-working days, as is the case with one of them this month, the payment will be made on the first working day after that.
The payment of pensions will be made according to a prepared schedule, which will be announced at each post office.
The transfers of the amounts for the March pensions to the accounts of pensioners who receive their money by bank transfer will be on March 9, 2026, the National Social Security Institute added.
On March 5, all eligible beneficiaries will be paid the cash benefits for pregnancy and childbirth, for raising a child up to two years of age and for adopting a child up to five years of age for the previous month of February.
The date for payment of unemployment benefits this month is March 16, Monday.
