This was stated by the constitutionalist Plamen Kirov in the program “Tvoyat den” on NovaNews, shortly after ITN returned the folder with the third term empty.
"If Kozhareva also does not agree to become acting prime minister until a new National Assembly is elected, the government will act in resignation", explained the constitutionalist.
„The main task of the caretaker government is to organize fair and free elections. A resigned government cannot organize a vote. If it is not appointed ex officio, it could hypothetically lead to a constitutional crisis," Prof. Kirov also commented.
And he added that there will be no constitutional crisis.
„Some people should stop experimenting with the Constitution because they get bad decisions”, said Prof. Kirov.
